A quick and easy no-bake dessert dip made with cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and crumbled Christmas Tree cakes. Perfect for holiday gatherings and ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 box (10.5 oz) Christmas Tree cakes (about 8 cakes)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup sprinkles or holiday jimmies
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese and butter by leaving them at room temperature for 30 minutes or microwaving for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Crumble the Christmas Tree cakes (including the creme filling) into small pieces, reserving about a quarter for topping.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and powdered sugar with a hand mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy (1-2 minutes).
  4. Fold in the crumbled Christmas Tree cakes (except the reserved portion) with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and spread evenly. Top with the reserved crumbled cakes and optional sprinkles.
  6. Serve immediately at room temperature or chill for 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

For best texture, use full-fat block cream cheese and let it soften properly. Do not overmix the cakes to retain texture. The dip can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days; let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
