A budget-friendly Christmas wreath charcuterie board that uses simple, affordable ingredients arranged in a festive wreath shape. Perfect for holiday gatherings, this board feeds 8-10 people for under $30.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4–5 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 8–10 ounces salami, thinly sliced
  • 6 ounces turkey pepperoni or ham (optional)
  • 8 ounces block cheddar cheese
  • 4–6 pieces string cheese or mozzarella pearls
  • 4–5 ounces spreadable cheese (cream cheese or Boursin-style)
  • 1–2 cups red grapes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green olives, pitted
  • A handful fresh parsley or small basil leaves
  • 1 box round crackers or mini breadsticks (6–8 ounces)
  • 1 small baguette, sliced into rounds
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • Star fruit slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your board: Place a large round board or platter on a clean surface. If using a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper.
  2. Create the herb base: Lay fresh rosemary sprigs in a circular pattern around the outer edge of the board, with leaves pointing outward.
  3. Cut the cheese: Cut block cheddar into 1/2-inch cubes and a few slices. Optionally, use small cookie cutters to make star or tree shapes. Place cheese cubes in clusters around the wreath.
  4. Fold the salami: Fold each salami slice in half, then in half again to form triangles, or roll into cylinders. Arrange in small piles around the wreath. For turkey pepperoni or ham, roll each slice into a tight log and place in small bunches.
  5. Add the string cheese: Pull string cheese into thin strips or leave whole. Place in small bundles around the board.
  6. Arrange fruits and vegetables: Scatter red grapes in small clusters, cherry tomatoes in groups, and green olives in small piles around the wreath.
  7. Add crackers and bread: Fan out round crackers in small arcs and place baguette slices in a few spots, slightly overlapping.
  8. Fill gaps: Use fresh parsley or basil leaves to fill empty spaces, tucking them under cheese or between grapes.
  9. Add spreadable cheese: Spoon cream cheese or Boursin-style cheese into a small bowl and place in the center of the wreath.
  10. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over the top and arrange star fruit slices if using. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready.

Notes

Add crackers and bread just before serving to prevent sogginess. The board can be assembled up to 4 hours in advance and refrigerated. For a vegetarian version, skip the meats and double the cheese and vegetables. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free crackers or cucumber rounds.
