A quick and festive non-alcoholic drink made with cranberry juice, orange juice, and ginger ale. Perfect for holiday parties or a simple weeknight treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ginger ale
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish (optional)
  • Orange slices or wedges for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Juice your citrus first. Squeeze enough oranges to get 1/2 cup (120 ml) of fresh juice. Then squeeze half a lime for 1 tablespoon (15 ml). Strain out any seeds.
  2. Combine the base ingredients. In a pitcher, pour in the cranberry juice, fresh orange juice, and lime juice. If using honey or agave, add it now and stir until dissolved.
  3. Chill everything. Pop the pitcher in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Add the fizz right before serving. Slowly stir in the ginger ale. Gently fold it in with a spoon.
  5. Fill your glasses with ice.
  6. Pour and garnish. Fill each glass about three-quarters full with the mocktail mixture. Top with fresh cranberries, an orange slice, and a mint sprig if desired.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Make the base up to 3 days ahead and store in the fridge. Add ginger ale and ice just before serving to keep it fizzy. For a spicier kick, use ginger beer instead of ginger ale. For kids, use half ginger ale and half lemon-lime soda to reduce spiciness.
