Ingredients

  • Sharp Cheddar (8 oz)
  • Brie (8 oz wheel)
  • Goat Cheese Log (4 oz)
  • Prosciutto (4 oz, thinly sliced)
  • Sopressata Salami (4 oz)
  • Honeycrisp Apples (2)
  • Bartlett Pears (2)
  • Seedless Red Grapes (1 cup)
  • Dried Figs (1/2 cup)
  • Assorted Crackers (about 20)
  • Baguette (1 small)
  • Fig Jam (1/3 cup)
  • Honey (for drizzling)
  • Fresh Rosemary Sprigs (a few)
  • Pomegranate Seeds (1/4 cup)
  • Roasted and Salted Almonds (1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients (5 minutes): Take the brie and goat cheese out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you start. Wash and dry the grapes, apples, and pears. Slice the baguette into thin rounds. If toasting, bake at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  2. Place the Bowls First (2 minutes): Put small bowls for fig jam and honey on the board to anchor the arrangement.
  3. Add the Cheeses (3 minutes): Place the brie wheel whole in the center-left. Slice sharp cheddar into thin triangles and fan them out. Crumble goat cheese into a small pile near the brie.
  4. Arrange the Meats (3 minutes): Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and place near the brie. Slice sopressata into thin rounds and overlap them in a line.
  5. Add the Fruits (4 minutes): Core and slice apples and pears right before serving (toss in lemon juice to prevent browning). Fan slices out in a curve. Scatter grapes in small clusters. Place dried figs in a pile.
  6. Fill the Gaps (3 minutes): Fill empty spaces with crackers, baguette slices, and almonds. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over everything.
  7. Garnish and Serve (2 minutes): Tuck rosemary sprigs around the board. Drizzle honey over the brie if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, let cheeses come to room temperature for 20 minutes before serving. To prevent apple and pear browning, toss slices in lemon juice. The board can be assembled a few hours in advance, but add fruits and crackers just before serving.
