These no-bake Oreo truffle balls are a quick and easy holiday treat made with just four main ingredients. They feature a fudgy, creamy center coated in white chocolate and decorated with festive sprinkles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 12 oz white melting wafers or white chocolate chips
  • Christmas sprinkles or crushed candy canes (for decoration)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, only if using white chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the entire package of Oreos (cream filling included) into a food processor. Pulse until finely crushed, like sand. Alternatively, seal in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric hand mixer until smooth and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Combine: Add the crushed Oreos to the cream cheese and mix until fully combined. The mixture should be dark, fudgy, and hold together when pressed.
  4. Chill the mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 1 hour).
  5. Roll the truffle balls: Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill the rolled balls: Refrigerate the baking sheet for another 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Melt the white chocolate: Place white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth. If using white chocolate chips, stir in 1 tsp coconut oil to thin.
  8. Dip the truffle balls: Using a fork or dipping tool, lower a chilled ball into the melted white chocolate. Roll to coat, lift out, and let excess drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  9. Add decorations: While the white chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
  10. Let the coating set: Refrigerate the baking sheet for 15-20 minutes, until the white chocolate is firm.
  11. Serve or store: Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve. Best enjoyed cold.

Notes

Don’t skip the chilling steps—they ensure the mixture is firm enough to roll and dip. Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing. Crush cookies finely for best texture. If using white chocolate chips, add 1 tsp coconut oil to prevent seizing. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.
